Mark A. Ferry, 59, longtime resident of Middlefield, passed away at his home Thursday, March 29, 2018.He was born on April 9, 1958 in Chardon, Ohio, son of Curtiss and Beverly (Barkley) Ferry. While Mark was in school, he worked at Fritinger Feed Mill in Middlefield. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield. Mark loved John Deere tractors. He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, word find puzzles, playing cards, bingo and going to the casinos. His favorite TV shows where the Big Bang Theory and the Texas Walker Ranger series. Mark always had a sense of humor and was his mom’s protector. He loved going to Arby’s to visit and have his coffee and going to the Hot Dog Shop. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving mother Beverly Ferry of Middlefield; his aunt Ethel Ferry; his uncle Lee Malensek; and several cousins and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his beloved father Curtiss Ferry who passed away in 2015; and his grandparents, Lola and Thomas Barkley and Ellen and Neil Ferry.
Calling hours will be held 12:00-2:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018 with a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 PM at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High St., Middlefield, OH 44062. Burial will follow at Middlefield Cemetery.
