James Edward Wintermute of Burton, Ohio, passed away September 28, 2018 in Henderson, Nevada. He was born April 1, 1928 in Highlands, New York to the late Henry C. Wintermute and the late Mary E. Oates.
He graduated from Fort Union military school in Virginia. He took some courses from Fenn College, which is now Cleveland State University, where he majored in business, and also served in the US Navy.
For most of his life, James worked as an electronics salesman. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and spending time with family.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jamie Doll of Las Vegas, his son-in-law, Joseph C. Doll, and his grandson, Jeremy Joseph Doll, all of Henderson, NV.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 22, 2018 at the Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, Ohio 44062. A burial of his cremains will take place following the service in Welton Cemetery, Burton, Ohio.
