James A. Kilko, 73 of Lexington, North Carolina, formerly of Huntsburg, Ohio passed away June 28, 2018 at his home in Lexington. He was born on May 9, 1945 in Cleveland, son of George and Anne (Szabo) Kilko. James was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He worked for Black and Decker in Solon before he moved to Lexington. In Lexington he worked for a furniture factory. James enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing.
James is survived by two daughters, Cara Meininghaus of Orwell, Ohio and Martie Temple of Lexington, NC; 6 grandchildren; his sister Betty Anne Adams of Huntsburg, and his brother George Kilko of Mentor. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018, 4:00-7:00 PM followed with a Celebration of Life and Military honors at 7:00 PM at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High Street, Middlefield, OH 44062.
The Memorial Graveside Service will be 12:30 Friday, August 10, 2018 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH 44270. (please meet promptly at 12:15 at the cemetery)
