Garnet S. Parrish, 81, of Orwell, went home to be with the Lord, May 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 26, 1936 in Mannington, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Lewis Ray and Ethel (Hayes) Snider. Garnet worked for Kennemetal as an inspector until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She was lovingly known as “Mam-ma” and “Dumpy”. She loved her family and was a friend to everyone she met. She will be truly missed.
Garnet is survived by her children Arlie(Gail) Parrish, Robin (Debbie) Parrish, Trudy (Joe) Pavlic, Brenda (Don) Fultz, Tina (Randy) Rasmussen, and Tammy (Keith) Koon, her brother Jimmy (Ethel) Snider, and sister Patsy(John) Watson, 17 grandchildren, 34 great- grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Don Snider, and sisters Betty Jean Spears, Jacqueline Spencer, Wanda Headley, and Judy Hayes.
There will be a memorial gathering of family and friends on Saturday May 26, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. at the Mesopotamia Town Hall, 8686 St Rt 534, Mesopotamia, Ohio 44439. Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home assisted family with arrangements
