Freeman F. Gingerich Jr., 61 of Windsor Township, Ohio, passed away at UH Geauga Medical Center Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1957 in Claridon Township, son of Freeman and Mary (Miller) Gingerich. He did masonry work for Mullet’s and worked for Mr. Turkey in Garrettsville. He also enjoyed working on a dairy farm. Freeman loved being outdoors. He enjoyed squirrel and raccoon hunting, fishing, and riding 4 wheelers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
Freeman is survived by six siblings, Bill (Dorothy) Gingerich, Linda (Noah Miller) Gingerich, Ray (Esther) Gingerich, Martin (Ruth) Gingerich, Betty (William) Miller, and Robert (Betty) Gingerich; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2018 at Maple View Church, 14890 Burton Windsor Rd., Burton, Oh 44021. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Church. Burial will follow in Maple View Cemetery. Pastor Mike Continenza will officiate.
