Mary B. Miller 77 of Middlefield passed away suddenly Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born in Mesopotamia Ohio on December 18, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter and Jemima (Weaver) Bricker. She survived two husbands who preceded her, Benjamin Yoder (1970) and Reverend Eli Miller (2007).
Mary was active in the Abundant Life Church directing and assisting with hundreds of church meals, helping her neighbors and those in need, quilting, and was a “prayer warrior” for her family and many other people. She liked to consider herself “small but mighty”, she had great love for her family and grandchildren and prayed for them every day. She loved vacations in Maine and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the sea.
She is survived by her son William (Christine) Yoder, daughters Jamie (Owen) Gingerich and Nancy (Brad) Milgate, and youngest son Thomas R. Yoder; grandchildren, Corey (Lisa) Milgate, Donovan (Angela) Gingerich, Steve Milgate, Candace (Ciprian) Sas, Rachel (Bill) Fugman, David (Jamie) Yoder, Anthony Yoder, Cassandra (Jake) Mullet, Jessica Yoder, Eric Yoder, 6 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and survived by four brothers and four sisters.
Calling hours will be 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Abundant Life Church, 14662 Old State Rd., Middlefield, OH 44062. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, 11:00 AM at the Church. Burial will follow at Maple View Cemetery in Burton Township.
