John Anthony Fuduric, 74, longtime resident of Huntsburg, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Heather Hill. Born on July 29, 1942 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late John P. and Caroline (Klassan) Fuduric. John married Geraldine Vidmar on April 16, 1966. His passion was farming at home and loved being an umpire for little league and high school. He was the founder of the Geauga County Umpire Association and was the Secretary for the association for years. He was a welder for 45 years at Fisher Body and then at General Motors until he retired. He was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and loved being with his family and friends.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine of 51 years; four children, John R. (Michelle) Fuduric, Anton “Tony” Fuduric, Jelane (Chris) Vucetic and Jill (Sarah McEachern) Fuduric; five grandchildren, Amber, Kerrigan, Wyatt, Aubrey, and Jessica; and his sister Linda Fuduric.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 16280 Kinsman Road, Middlefield, OH 44062. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of John to St. Lucy’s Church, Po Box 709, Parkman, Ohio 44080.
