James T. Devlin, 69 of West Farmington passed away suddenly Saturday January 27, 2018 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born July 20, 1948 in Warren, Ohio. He served with the US Army as a Sergeant during Vietnam, 82nd and 173rd Airborne Brigade. James worked for W.C.I for 30 years and then for Farmers Welding Supply in Middlefield for 9 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and his friends. He loved welding, fabricating and fixing things. James watch all kinds of auto racing, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and playing his guitar with family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Rose M. (Satterlee) Devlin, sons, Richard (Melissa) Devlin of Garrettsville, Michael (Joy) Devlin of Bainbridge, 4 grandchildren, Bria, Savannah Drew, Mason, sister, Mary (Lynn) Thompson, Annette (Vinnie) Fasulo, brothers, Patrick Fasulo, Michael (Carla) Fasulo, David (Jayne) Fasulo, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Frances (Yakus) Fasulo and sister, Kathleen Fasulo.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 31, 2018 from 5:00 PM until time of the service at 7:30 PM at the Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, OH 44062. He will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery the following day at a private family graveside service.
